Julian "J.D." Cribbs, 84 years old passed away August 20, 2018 at the home of his daughter, Kathleen.

JD was born June 1, 1934 in Palatka, FL to Joseph Washington Sr and Ina Mae (Wilkinson) Cribbs.

Dad retired after 20 years of service in the Army. He did two terms in Vietnam and one in Korea.

Dad's morning routine was to be up at 6:00 am with coffee and a smoke on the front porch. He enjoyed watching the neighborhood kids playing and people going by. Some of his other favorite past times were to watch FOX News, Naked and Afraid and the Discovery channel.

Dad took pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Washington Sr. and Ina Mae (Wilkinson) Cribbs; brothers, Joseph Washington Cribbs Jr., Wayne Cribbs Sr; sisters Joyce Louise Neal and Vertis Elizabeth Shumate.

He is survived by his brother Cornelius Cribbs (Pearl) Texas; sisters, Myrtle Creamer, Georgia and Linda Mincks (Dennis) Georgia; six children, Michael David Cribbs (SC), Elisa Lei Massey (GA), Kathleen Marie Cribbs (AR), Laurie Ann Hannaford-Webb (GA), Martha Ellen Secor (AR) and Naomi Ruth Guiney (SC) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial with military honors at the AR State Veterans Cemetery.
