Woody Walker Tedford, Sr., 71, passed away on January 6, 2019. He was born on May 5, 1947, to C.W. and Agnes Tedford and was preceded in death by them, as well as by his brother, Tim Tedford.
Woody was a 1965 graduate of North Little Rock High School and attended Arkansas Tech University. He was a long-time employee of 3M and also worked for GPC until retirement. He enjoyed golf, his cat, his computer, and-in his youth-his motorcycle and playing the cornet. He was active in the North Little Rock Elks Club and served as Lodge 1004’s Exalted Ruler for several years.
Woody is survived by a son, Woody “Ted” Tedford, Jr. (Dana), a daughter, Brandy Flanigan (Eric), four grandchildren, Nick (Shelby) and Sam Tedford, Braydon and Gavin Flanigan, and his cousin and caregiver, LeElla Ratcliff.
Visitation will be Friday, January 11, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a graveside service at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 pm.
