Michael John Kaczka, 70, of Dallas, Texas passed away on December 16, 2018 after battling colon cancer. Mike was born November 15, 1948 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Ferdinand and Angeline Kaczka.

He survived by his daughters Michele Kaczka and Danielle Kaczka Long, his son-in-law Ryan Long and three grandchildren Bentley, Farrah and Channing Long; one brother, Ferdie Kaczka and sister-in-law Annabelle Kaczka of Greensboro, N.C.  Waiting for him in heaven are his parents and brother August Kaczka.

He graduated from St. Patrick’s School, Little Rock Catholic High School and University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Mike was very active at UALR. He served as the Student Body President, Dean’s List, apart of Alpha Kappa Psi and Pi Sigma Epsilon and received the Wall Street Journal Award his graduating year.

He loved hunting and fishing especially on his family farm in Arkansas where he would hunt game as a young teen.  He enjoyed sports, was athletic and coached his daughters in their sports.  He introduced the game of golf to Michele and Danielle both at a young age.  A good day was watching them play golf or talking about the game together. He was known as “Babo” to his three grandchildren and loved any opportunity to fish with them or share a Wendy’s chocolate frosty.  He was a good writer leaving memories, love and life stories for his family.
