May 30, 1932 ~ March 1, 2019 (age 86)

Lorna Louise Crosswhite Grove of Sherwood, Arkansas went to the arms of her Savior on March 1, 2019. Lorna was born on May 30, 1932 in Mercedes, Texas the daughter of the late Eddie and Hazel Bean Crosswhite. Lorna is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Dr. Arthur Henry Grove.

Lorna graduated Business College and then worked as a Dental Assistant in Houston, Texas. In 1954 she met Arthur at Church, had a short courtship and married in 1955. After they married, Lorna then assisted Arthur in his Dental Practice. They had three sons, Arthur, Andy, and Ted. Together the family had many adventures including summer vacations in the Rocky Mountains, and building a cabin in Central Texas on their Tree Farm.

Lorna and Arthur were always involved in some sort of church ministry. In Houston, they were active with Single Adults, often having large groups over to their beautiful home. After Arthur retired, they moved to North Texas. They became very involved with International Student Ministry.  Their love of genealogy led to extensive travel researching various courthouse records for family clues. Lorna was an active member of the Daughters of American Revolution.

Lorna is survived by her sons Dr. Arthur W Grove (Becky) of Houston, Texas; Andy Grove (Patty) of Huntsville, Arkansas; and Ted Grove (Bobetta) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren Matthew (Julie) Grove, Nathan (Laurie) Grove, Stephen (Melissa) Grove, Philip (Kellie) Grove; Amy Grove, Bonnie (Shelby) Lewis, Catherine (Ronnie) Saltsman, Benjamin (Madison) Grove, Natalie (Austin) Campbell; Jesse Grove, Grace Grove; and eight great-grand children.
